 The D-Day (contd..)

Khushi: Come on Arnav not stop crying. Its going to be a happy day for Di.

Payal: Ha Akash, please lets forget the past and make this day memorable for Di.

Soon Arnav and Akash hugged Khushi and Payal.

Akashi: Thank you so much Payal and Khushi. If not for you both we wouldn't have seen this smiling Di again.

Soon all of them controlled their tears and came down.

In the hall the rest of the raizaadas, aman's family and guptas were eagerly waiting for Anjali and also teasing Aman.

Suddenly everyone became quiet. All of them had tears in their eyes seeing smiling Anjali supported by her brothers and sister-in-laws.

Naani came and hugged Anjali and soon every led the couple to the small canopy built with flowers where the engagement was supposed to take place.

The pandit chanted some mantras and blessed the couples and gave them then engagement ring.

Aman took Anjali's hand and he felt slight tremor.

  Aman: Anjali..

Anjali lifted her head and saw aman and his eye twinkling with joy. She looked around and saw only happy faces. she closed her eyes and took a deep breathe and opened them.

Aman saw that even though anjali was scared she was ready to take this step in her life. He slowly slid the ring into her finger.

Then Anjali took the ring from Arnav and slid it into Aman's finger.

They took the blessings of the pandit and everyone. Arnav had called his office photographer Jeff to take the photos.
All were really happy with new beginnings in Anjali's life.
All had good dinner and soon only the young couples were left behind.
